Temporary Road Closure – Mercer Springate Road, East Nanango
South Burnett Regional Council advises that we are currently planning to upgrade the floodway on Mercer Springate Road, East Nanango, located 670m from Greenwood Creek Road.
The outcome of the project is to provide resilience and safety during and post flood events.
In order to safely complete these works, it is necessary to close vehicular access on Mercer Springate Road between Greenwood Creek Road and Old Rifle Range Road. Below is a map of the location of road closure that will be in place.
Works are anticipated from Monday 9 September 2024 to Sunday 15 September 2024 (subject to wet weather)
The project is funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the joint Commonwealth-state Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA), with additional funding support from South Burnett Regional Council.
Detour signage will be in place prior to commencement of works.
