Bjelke-Petersen Dam Caravan and Recreation Park has great facilities and amenities to suit your holiday needs. The kiosk is stocked with camping, fishing and outdoor gear just in case you forget any holiday essentials. The kiosk also provides snacks, ice cream, hot food, cold drinks, ice, firewood and grocery items. Our friendly staff are also a wealth of knowledge on local attractions, wineries and events that will complement your stay. Bjelke-Petersen Caravan and Recreation Park also offers holiday fun activities through peak seasons to ensure everyone is catered for.

 

Camp Kitchen

The camp kitchen is a communal space for holiday makers looking to have a BBQ or camp oven and relaxing in the park. It's a large space with fire pit, fridge, microwave, two electric BBQs, picnic tables and TV. This space is conveniently located beside the swimming pool, tennis courts and play equipment.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is a chlorinated saltwater pool. It is situated beside the camp kitchen, tennis courts and play equipment. Adult supervision is always required for children as no lifeguard is onsite. The pool area is a glass free space.

Tennis Courts & Basketball Court

The hard surface multi-purpose courts are located near the swimming pool and camp kitchen. The courts have a basketball hoop and tennis net for those wishing to burn off the holiday calories. The court is available all year round with a fee for night games. Racquets and balls are available from the kiosk.

Play Equipment

The park has a great outdoor playground for kids of all ages whilst the parents relax in the nearby camp kitchen. The playground is equipped with slippery slide, suspended walk, noughts and crosses. Adult supervision is recommended

 

Laundry

The laundry is located near the powered sites (12-22). The laundry has two heavy duty washing machines and one dryer. All coin operated ($5 for washing machine and $5 for dryer)

Boat Ramps and Fish Cleaning Tables

Bjelke-Petersen Dam Caravan and Recreation Park has one boat ramp within the park area. Conveniently located below the lakeside villas.  Fish cleaning tables are located near the boat ramp with rubbish bins that are emptied regularly. An additional boat ramp and fish table is located outside the park grounds at the Day Use area. Please contact the kiosk for more information.

Caravan Dump point

Bjelke-Petersen Dam Caravan and Recreation Park has a dump point available for guests only at no cost. Please contact the kiosk for more information.
