Kingaroy Regional Water Supply Security Assessment

Safe, secure and reliable water supply is essential to support the growth, health and wellbeing of communities. The Queensland Government, through the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy (DNRM), partnered with the South Burnett Regional Council to investigate and establish a shared understanding of the capability of Kingaroy’s water supply system to support current water demands and future growth. Arising from this partnership is this regional water supply security assessment (RWSSA), which provides valuable information about the water supply security for Kingaroy as well as a foundation for future water supply planning by Council.
