Served at Gallipoli from the 4th day of invasion until the evacuation in December 1915.
Served at a hospital for limbless soldiers in England until transfer to H.M.S. Royal Oak at Scapa Flow in Scotland, in time for the battle of Jutland 1916.
Emigrated to Australia 1919.
In 1921 married Helen C Rhodes, who he met at Sydney Hospital.
Moved to Murwillumbah practising as General Practitioner.
Moved to Wondai and served the community 1922-1926.
Died in Brisbane 1963 aged 72 years. His son Keith became a highly regarded doctor at Kingaroy. - Listed on
