Common issues at waste facilities

From time to time, we encounter some issues at the waste facilities and transfer stations due to negligence of instructions for appropriate usage of the facilities. Council has to put in additional resources and spend extra money to manage these issues. These increased costs are collected through increasing the charges on rates. If the sites are used in an appropriate manner and as per the instructions, then the overall cost of waste management may reduce and there would be no increase in the rates.

If you have any doubt or question about any of the facilities, please do not hesitate to contact our friendly customer service team.
