Lamb Street, Murgon-CBD Footpath, Kerb and Channel Replacement
South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to advise the progress of the replacement of Murgon’s CBD footpath along Lamb Street (between Krebs and Gore Street).
This work has been funded through the Queensland Government’s 2019-21 Works for Queensland program and South Burnett Regional Council.
The South Burnett Regional Council have also commenced a third stage of the Lamb Street CBD footpath replacement, which will see new footpaths extending from the BIEDO building around to the Rail Trail. The South Burnett Regional Council has a strong commitment to supporting and engaging with local suppliers and contractors to complete these works.
Details of activities planned for week commencing Sunday 30th August are outlined below and highlighted in the “Image – Plan of works”. GREEN Sections are considered complete.

RED Southern side spray pave- Works occurring after hours until complete
ORANGE Stage 3- Awning post works- Scheduled for completion by 4th September
Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst works are in progress.
