UPDATE - Lamb Street, Murgon - CBD Footpath, Kerb and Channel Replacement
Following the success of Stage Two, South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to be proceeding with Stage Three of the Lamb Street Footpath, Kerb and Channel Replacement works.
New footpath surfacing works will be undertaken to complete frontages adjoining The Australian and The Royal Hotel, located on Gore Street’s western side. Complete replacement of the footpath and kerb and channel will also commence between the BIEDO office on Gore Street extending around to The Rail Trail on Lamb Street.
South Burnett Regional Council has a strong and continued commitment to supporting regionally based suppliers and contractors throughout the delivery of the project.
Details of activities planned for week commencing Monday 19 October 2020 are outlined below and highlighted in the attached “Image – Plan of works”. GREEN Sections are considered complete.

- BLUE - Stormwater infrastructure replacement commencing Monday 19 October 2020
- ORANGE - Demolition works completed - Kerb and channel works commencing week of the 19 October 2020
- RED - Footpath repairs and Spraypave resurfacing
