Butter factory Park all inclusive playground upgrades to commence
South Burnett Regional Council wishes to advise that construction and upgrade of the all abilities playground at Butter Factory Park, Nanango
will soon proceed with works scheduled to commence in December 2020.
Council has been working with community members on the concept design, with the playground to incorporate all abilities equipment including:
- Spinmee Inclusive Roundabout
- Musical Panel
- Fuel Station Interactive play panel
- Activity Net Climbing Station
- Spring Toy
- Inclusive Swings (Infant & Strap, Basket, Tango)
- Freestanding Naughts & Crosses
- Inclusive Spring Toy
- Extreme Adventure Unit
- New shade sail covered area
The project has been jointly funded through the Australian Government’s Drought Communities Programme (DCP), the Queensland Government’s Works for Queensland (W4Q) programme, along with combined community funding through fundraising events, donations and funding from the Heritage Community Bank.
Council wishes to advise that due to the installation of new inclusive equipment, the playground will be closed to public access from Tuesday 1 December 2020 through to Friday 18 December 2020, weather permitting.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks businesses and the community for their patience whilst works are in progress.
