Footpath Construction Tessmanns Road, Kingaroy
Council wishes to advise that footpath construction works commenced at Tessmanns Road, Kingaroy on Monday, 9 November 2020.
Works are expected to be completed by Monday, 23 November 2020, subject to weather and other external constraints. This footpath will provide pedestrian access from Doonkuna Street to Ivy Street.
The works, funded under the Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme (TIDS) and Council’s 2020-21 Capital Upgrade Works Programme, include minor excavation and concrete works and will tie into existing driveways where appropriate.
In order to provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage or with traffic controllers as required. Local access to properties within the work area will be permitted, however some delays may occur.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks businesses and the community for their patience whilst works are in progress.
