2020/2021 Round 1 – Community Grants Program successful applicants announced

Council recognises the important contribution community organisations and individuals make to the South Burnett region by providing support through the community grants program.

This program encompasses the grants, donations, sponsorship and other assistance Council makes to community organisations delivering local programs, activities and events.

Round One (1) of the program received 36 applicants requesting a total of $79,238.33 worth of assistance. The Assessment panel considered each application on merit which resulted in approval for $52,888.50 to be distributed through Round One (1).

Cr Danita Potter, Portfolio Councillor for Community said that Council received fantastic applications.

“I would like to congratulate the successful applicants and we look forward to all the events/projects coming to fruition,” Cr Potter said.
