Work to commence on Council’s finance building
South Burnett Regional Council has commissioned Wards Electrical to commence construction works on Council’s finance building which is located to the right of the Kingaroy Library.
The works will incorporate roof replacement, new flooring/carpet and re-painting.
The project, funded through the State Government’s Works for Queensland programme, commenced early November and has an anticipated completion date of Friday 18 December 2020.
Members of the public should be aware that throughout this time there may be general worksite noises and vehicle movements to and around the jobsite. Council and the construction team will be mindful that surrounding businesses will be trading as per normal.
Facilities including the Kingaroy Town Hall, Reception Room, public amenities and the car park behind the Kingaroy Town Hall can still be accessed from the entrances located in the Kingaroy forecourt and at the rear of the complex.
