Christmas operating hours

Council Staff Christmas Function

Council’s administration offices, customer service centres, libraries and depots will close on Friday 18 December 2020 at the following times for the purpose of Council employees attending the staff Christmas function: Blackbutt – 11:30am; Kingaroy – 12:30pm; Murgon – 11:45am; Nanango – 12:00pm; Proston – 11:00am; Wondai – 12:00pm.

Customer Service Centres, Libraries and Administration Offices

Council’s customer service centres, libraries, and administration offices will close from midday Thursday 24 December 2020 and re-open on Monday 4 January 2021.

Waste Management Facilities and Kerbside Collection

Waste management facilities located at Blackbutt, Kingaroy, Kumbia, Memerambi, Murgon, Nanango, Proston, Wattlecamp and Wondai will be closed on Christmas Day - Friday 25 December 2020.

Kerbside wheelie bin collections will take place on normal pickup days, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

All Council waste management facilities will resume regular opening hours from Saturday 26 December 2020.

Visitor Information Centres

Visitor Information Centres will be closed on Christmas Day Friday 25 December 2020, Boxing Day Saturday 26 December 2020 and New Year’s Day Friday 1 January 2021.

In addition, the Murgon VIC will be closed on Thursday 24 December 2020 and the Wondai Heritage Museum will be closed from Friday 25 December 2020 through to Tuesday 5 January 2021.
