Footpath Construction – Markwell Street, Kingaroy

Works are scheduled to be completed in approximately 1 week, subject to weather and other external constraints. (refer image below)

Works, funded through the Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme (TIDS) and Council’s 2020-21 Capital Upgrade Works Programme, includes excavation and installation of a new concrete footpath to provide pedestrian access from William Street to the existing footpath at Aldi.

In order to provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage or with traffic controllers as required. Local access to properties within the work area will be permitted, however some delays may occur.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks businesses and the community for their patience whilst works are in progress.
