Have your say – Community engagement sessions

South Burnett Regional Council Mayor Brett Otto will be hosting community engagement sessions throughout the South Burnett which commenced Saturday 13 February 2021.

These sessions are an opportunity for the South Burnett community to contribute to a future Community Plan and meet with the Mayor and Divisional Councillors.

Residents are invited to bring their own chair, food and drinks and attend one of the following community engagement sessions:

  • Hivesville - Saturday 13 February 2021 5–7pm - Memorial Park    COMPLETED
  • Murgon - Wednesday 17 February 2021 5-7pm - Royal Hotel        COMPLETED
  • Wondai - Thursday 18 February 2021 5-7pm - Coronation Park     COMPLETED
  • Proston - Saturday 20 February 2021 5-7pm - Scouts                    COMPLETED
  • Tingoora - Tuesday 23 February 2021 5-7pm - Picnic Shelter        COMPLETED
  • Kingaroy - Wednesday 24 February 2021 5-7pm - Memorial Park
  • Nanango - Wednesday 3 March 2021 5-7pm - Tara Hall
  • Blackbutt - Thursday 4 March 2021 5-7pm - Les Muller Park
  • Mondure - Friday 5 March 2021 5:30–7:30pm - Rural Fire Brigade
  • Maidenwell - Wednesday 10 March 2021 5-7pm - Maidenwell Hotel
  • Durong - Thursday 11 March 2021 5-7pm - Bowls Club
  • Kumbia - Wednesday 17 March 2021    5-7pm – Town Hall on the lawn
  • Wooroolin - Thursday 18 March 2021 5-7pm - Dalton Place
  • Memerambi - Friday 19 March 2021 5-7pm - Rail Trail entrance

South Burnett Regional Council Mayor Brett Otto is encouraging all South Burnett residents to share their ideas at any of the upcoming sessions.

Mayor Brett Otto said, “The Community Plan can only make a difference if everyone in the South Burnett gets involved and has their say.”

“The community engagement sessions are a valuable opportunity to gauge community opinion and understand what is important to them within the region.”
