Update – Kingaroy Transformation Project (KTP) 22-02-2021

Back

South Burnett Regional Council would like to advise that continued isolated closures to the northern and southern parking bays along Alford Street will continue into March,

whilst works continue on the Kingaroy Transformation Project (KTP). These closures will not always occur consecutively, but as required to allow for infrastructure replacement works and ensuring community safety.

The closure of the Glendon Street roundabout is scheduled to occur under night works in late February to minimise further disruptions.

During the construction period, Council strongly encourages the community to support those businesses impacted by the works. Pedestrian access will remain open at all times.

Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates your patience while works are in progress.

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding any facets of the project, please contact the Kingaroy Transformation team by phone on (07) 4189 9100 or email ktp@sbrc.qld.gov.au
