Kingaroy Transformation Project Update
South Burnett Regional Council advises the Kingaroy Transformation Project (KTP) works are continuing along Alford Street and Glendon Street in the coming months.
Alford Street and Glendon Street Roundabout to Circular Place will be closed on Monday, 1 March 2021.
Single lane traffic and parking closures will occur along the Westpac Bank side of Alford Street, between Glendon and Kingaroy Street intersections. These closures are to allow for critical water main replacement works from Monday, 1 March to Sunday, 7 March.
Pedestrian access will remain open at all times.
During the construction period, Council strongly encourages the community to support those businesses impacted by the works.
Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates your patience while works are in progress.
