Road Closure on Alford Street Kingaroy
South Burnett Regional Council advises a full road closure, including parking closures, will occur on Alford Street,
from the western side of the Glendon Street Roundabout to Youngman Street on Wednesday 10 March 2021.
The closure will allow for the installation of crossroad communication and electrical conduits, occurring between 5am and 8pm. Pedestrian access will remain open at all times.
Access to Kingaroy Shopping World will continue to operate via the underground carpark on Markwell Street and the upper level Carpark via Glendon Street. Carparking at the Woolworths entry to Kingaroy Shopping world will remain open, along with the exit on Youngman Street.
During the construction period, Council strongly encourages the community to support those businesses impacted by the works.
Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
