Council welcomes new managers at Lake Boondooma Caravan and Recreation Park
South Burnett Regional Council advises that Lake Boondooma Caravan and Recreation Park welcomed new managers Heath Sander & Rowena Wessling on Saturday 27 February 2021.
Heath and Rowena will be taking over from Doug and Kath Hughes.
Doug and Kath Hughes managed the Caravan and Recreation Park from December 2019 and stayed on as Caretakers during the COVID-19 closure (March to August), and assisted Council with COVID Management Plans in preparation for re-opening of the parks.
Council thanks Doug and Kath for their service and wishes them all the best in their new endeavours.
Heath and Rowena are current managers at Bjelke-Petersen Dam’s Yallakool Park and will be operating both dams.
Lake Boondooma Caravan and Recreation Park is 20 kilometres north of Proston, offering a picturesque landscape for caravanning, camping and outdoor recreation to travellers venturing to the South Burnett.
