Public holiday operating hours in the South Burnett for 2021
Council advises residents of the upcoming Easter weekend and public holidays, with changes in operating hours to South Burnett facilities.
Easter weekend and public holiday dates are as follows:
- Good Friday – Friday 2 April 2021
- Easter Saturday – Saturday 3 April 2021
- Easter Sunday – Sunday 4 April 2021
- Easter Monday – Monday 5 April 2021
- Anzac Day – Sunday 25 April 2021
- Anzac Day commemorative public holiday – Monday 26 April 2021
- Labour Day (May Day) – Monday 3 May 2021
Customer Service Centres
Council’s Customer Service Centres will be closed for the Easter long weekend from Good Friday 2 April and reopen on Tuesday 6 April. They will be closed all day on Anzac Day Sunday 25 April, Anzac Day commemorative holiday Monday 26 April and Labour Day (May Day) Monday 3 May.
Libraries
South Burnett Libraries will be closed from Good Friday 2 April and reopen on Tuesday 6 April. They will be closed all day on Anzac Day Sunday 25 April, Anzac Day commemorative holiday Monday 26 April and Labour Day (May Day) Monday 3 May.
Waste Management Facilities and Kerbside Collection
Waste management facilities located at Kingaroy, Murgon, Nanango, Wondai, Blackbutt, Memerambi, Kumbia, Proston and Wattle Camp will be closed on Good Friday 2 April and Anzac Day Sunday 25 April. All facilities will be business as usual on Anzac Day commemorative public holiday Monday 26 April.
Kerbside general waste collection will be business as usual.
Visitor Information Centres (VIC)
Visitor Information Centres will be closed on Good Friday 2 April, Anzac Day Sunday 25 April and Anzac Day commemorative public holiday Monday 26 April. VIC operating hours will be from 9am to 1pm for Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday and Labour Day (May Day).
