South Burnett Regional Council Waste Facility Operating Times

Council operates 17 waste facilities throughout the South Burnett. Some are staffed with specified operating hours, or only accessible by a pin code or key provided by Council.
Residents are advised of Council waste facilities’ operating hours as follows:
- Blackbutt Transfer Station - Open Thursday to Monday 8am to 5pm. Closed Fridays from 12noon to 1pm. Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day*.
- Brigooda Transfer Station – Open 7 days a week
- Bunya Mountains Transfer Station - Open 7 days a week
- Chahpingah Waste Facility - Open 7 days a week
- Cloyna Transfer Station - Open 7 days a week
- Durong Waste Facility - Open 7 days a week
- Hivesville Transfer Station - Open 7 days a week
- Home Creek Transfer Station - Open 7 days a week
- Kingaroy Waste Facility - Open 7 days a week 8am to 5pm. Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day*.
- Kumbia Transfer Station - Restricted keypad access open 7 days a week 6am to 6:30pm. Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day*.
- Maidenwell Waste Facility - Open 7 days a week
- Memerambi Transfer Station - Open 7 days a week. Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day*.
- Murgon Waste Facility - Open 7 days a week 8am to 12noon. Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day*.
- Proston Transfer Station - Restricted keypad access open 6:00am to 6:30pm seven days a week. Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day*.
- Nanango Waste Facility - Open 7 days a week 8am to 5pm. Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day*.
- Wattlecamp Transfer Station - Open Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday 8am to 5pm. Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day*.
- Wondai Waste Facility - Open 7 days a week 1pm to 5pm. Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day*.
