Road Maintenance on State Controlled Roads

South Burnett Regional Council advises the following maintenance commenced on state controlled roads on Monday 24 May 2021, with anticipated completion in 4 weeks,
conditions and external constraints permitting:
- Vegetation Clearing – along Kingaroy Barkers Creek Road, Wondai Proston Road and Murgon Gayndah Road.
- New Bus Stop Construction – at the intersection of Murgon Gayndah Road and Elbow Road, Merlwood.
To provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage or with traffic controllers as required.
Motorists are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the community’s patience while works are in progress.
