Pedestrian Access Upgrade Dutton Street East Murgon

South Burnett Regional Council advises works commenced in the week beginning Monday 7 June 2021 on the upgrade of concrete islands and pedestrian crossings in Dutton Street East, Murgon.

Works are scheduled to be completed in approximately two weeks, weather and other external constraints permitting.

Works have been funded through the School Transport Infrastructure Program (STIP) and Council’s 2020/21 Capital Upgrade Works programme and including demolition, new concrete, line marking removal and new line marking.

To provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage or traffic controllers as required. Local access to properties within the work area will be permitted, however some delays may occur.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates your patience while works are in progress.
