SBRC 20/21-22 – Request for Tender – Lease of Cattle Dip Facilities Nanango, Proston & Wondai
South Burnett Regional Council is offering cattle facilities for lease by tender.
The cattle facilities are located at Mt Stanley Road in East Nanango, Bunya Highway in Wondai and Corner of Sale Yard Road and Okeden Road in Proston.
The facilities have been historically used to support local livestock producers to maintain the cattle tick line. The facilities all have unique features and can be utilised for livestock husbandry practices, stock grazing and consolidation of small consignments of cattle to larger trucks for delivery to markets.
The Department for Agriculture and Fisheries has no interest in the sites but has offered its support to any potential lessee to reactivate the facilities.
