KTP Update – Scheduled works from 28 July to 15 August 2021

• The northern side of Alford Street, from Prices Plus to the Club Hotel, closed on Tuesday 27 July 2021 for approximately 6-8 weeks to allow for the reconstruction of this section. All businesses will remain open during construction. The southern side of Alford Street will remain open during this time.
• Haly Street will be closed under night works between 6pm and 6am from Monday 2 August, to allow for the installation of water and stormwater infrastructure. All businesses trading between these hours will remain open and customers are advised to follow signage.
• Alford Street, between Youngman Street and the Glendon Street Roundabout will be closed from Wednesday, 4 August to Wednesday, 11 August to allow for the demolition and reinstatement of the new road. This includes the roundabout, through to the pedestrian crossings.

Impacted businesses continue to remain open and locals are highly encouraged to support businesses whilst works are progressed.

The Project team will continue to work closely with all stakeholders to proactively mitigate the effects on parking as much as possible.

Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
