KTP Update - Scheduled works from 22 August to 5 September 2021
South Burnett Regional Council advises of the continued Kingaroy Transformation Project (KTP) works, with the following works scheduled to commence Sunday 22 August 2021:
South Burnett Regional Council advises of the continued Kingaroy Transformation Project (KTP) works, with the following works scheduled to commence Sunday 22 August 2021:
- Alford Street - Commencing Sunday 22 August, Alford Street between Glendon Street and Kingaroy Street will be closed for accelerated construction works. Pedestrian access into all Alford Street businesses will remain open.
- Haly Street will continue to have isolated closures under night works between 6pm and 6am, with works scheduled for completion Friday 27 August. All businesses will remain trading between these hours, vehicle parking and turnaround areas provided.
Works will be commencing in Haly Street Between Youngman St and Glendon Street as of Sunday 5 September, with construction initially occurring between Liquor Boss Wholesale and the Commercial Hotel. Pedestrian and/or driveway access into all Haly Street business will remain open. Further details will be provided closer to works commencing.
Impacted businesses continue to remain open and locals are highly encouraged to support businesses whilst works are progressed.
The Project team will continue to work closely with all stakeholders to proactively mitigate the effects on parking as much as possible.
Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
