Upcoming Works on Cherbourg Road
South Burnett Regional Council wishes to advise that heavy shoulder grading on Cherbourg Road will be commencing on Wednesday 29 September for a duration of two days works, weather permitting.
This work is part of a two-stage preparation works prior to bitumen resealing later in the year. Further notification for Stage 2 will be provided in due course. This project is funded through the Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme and Council’s 2021/22 Capital budget.
In order to provide a safe work environment, a one lane road closure will be in place whilst work is underway. The areas will be controlled by signage and traffic controllers as required. Motorists are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
