Works on Memerambi Barkers Creek Road Memerambi
South Burnett Regional Council advises that works are due commence on Memerambi Barkers Creek Road, Memerambi the week commencing Monday, 15 November 2021.
Work is expected to be completed in March 2022, weather and external constraints permitting.
Works to be undertaken include tree clearing, drainage works and an upgrade of the road surface from an unsealed to a sealed road surface standard at chainage 14.5km to 15.5km.
To provide a safe work environment, traffic will be controlled by signage or with traffic controllers as required.
Motorists are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
These works have been funded through the Queensland Government’s Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme and Council’s 2020/2021 Capital Upgrade Works Program.
