Santa’s Workshop makes its debut in South Burnett

Back

Santa’s Workshop is the sister initiative to Santa Claus Lane, with South Burnett businesses invited to get creative with their festive window displays this Christmas,

as an homage to the Christmas window displays of yore in Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall.

Santa’s Workshop aims to encourage a sense of place and pride in the region, with all local businesses urged to get involved. This is a competition that measures Christmas spirit and what it means to your business, not necessarily the size of the display! Get creative, collaborate with your colleagues and show us what you think Christmas spirit is all about!

One business from each of the six divisions will be chosen as having the best Christmas window display that truly embodies the Christmas spirit and will be titled ‘Santa’s Workshop’. The winning businesses will be awarded a trophy with a personalised plaque generously donated by Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd.

Santa’s Workshop will be an annual award for businesses to keep and display all year round.

To enter:

  1. Complete the entry form on Council’s website . Submission of an entry form is mandatory to be in the running for the Santa’s Workshop trophy.
  2. Have your Christmas window display ready for judging between Monday 29 November 2021 and Monday 6 December 2021.

Council wishes all businesses the best of luck and cannot wait to see the creativity that stems from such a special time of year.
