KTP Update - Upcoming road closures and works update 13 November to 18 November 2021

Haly Street will be closed between Kingaroy Street and Glendon Street from 6.00am Saturday 13 November 2021. Tyrepower Kingaroy will be accessible via Glendon Street during this time. From 12noon a full road closure will occur on Haly Street between Kingaroy Street and Youngman Street and is expected to reopen at 6.00pm Sunday 14 November 2021.

Alford Street will be closed from the roundabout up to Kingaroy Street from Sunday 14 November and anticipated to reopen on Thursday 18 November 2021. The closure is to allow for final asphalt works.

Glendon Street will be closed from the roundabout on the Kingaroy Shoppingworld side up towards Markwell Street from Sunday 14 November and anticipated to reopen on Thursday 18 November 2021. The closure is to allow for final asphalt works.

The community is urged to limit long term on-street parking during construction. Off-street parking is available in George Street, Roger Nunn Place, Alford Street and behind South Burnett Regional Council.

Pedestrian access will remain open at all times, with temporary pedestrian pathways being installed to navigate customers throughout construction.

All businesses within the work zone will remain open during construction and Council strongly encourages the community to support these local businesses impacted by the works.

The Project team will continue to work closely with all stakeholders to mitigate the effects on parking as much as possible.

Motorists and pedestrians should travel with extreme care, drive to the prevailing road conditions, and adhere to all signage.
