COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics in South Burnett
Queensland is on track to meet the 80% double dose vaccination rate for the border to open on 17 December 2021 in time for Christmas, as part of Queensland’s COVID-19 Vaccine Plan to Unite Families.
South Burnett residents are encouraged to visit one of the many COVID-19 vaccination clinics in the region, including the following pop-up clinics accepting walk-ins for anyone over 12 years old:
- The Bush Vax Bus Proston - Blake Street (opposite library) on Saturday 13 November 2021 9.00am to 12noon.
- Murgon and Nanango State High Schools – Saturday 13 November 8.00am to 4.00pm and Sunday 14 November 2021 8.00am to 2.00pm
- Murgon Visitor Information Centre – Tuesday 16 November to Wednesday 17 November 2021, 9.00am to 4.00pm
- South Burnett Health and Community Services Expo Kingaroy Town Hall – Thursday 18 November 2021 12noon to 5.00pm and Friday 19 November 2021 9.00am to 3.00pm.

Once Queensland reaches its 80% double dose vaccination milestone (estimated to be Friday 17 December 2021), anyone who is fully vaccinated (two doses) against COVID-19 will be given freedoms and anyone not fully vaccinated (two doses) will have restrictions on certain venues, facilities and events they wish to attend.
