KTP Update - Haly Street reopens for two-way traffic and parking

Back

South Burnett Regional Council advises two-way traffic, parking and footpaths have reopened on Haly Street

between Youngman and Kingaroy Streets from Wednesday 8 December 2021 following the Kingaroy Transformation Project works.

Access to George Street and Glendon Street via Haly Street is also open.

Some Council workers will be onsite undertaking minor clean up and other ancillary works, however the majority of the work crews have vacated the area.

Reduced speed limits still remain on Haly Street, as well as fencing being put in place for works required in early 2022.

To provide a safe working environment, these works will be controlled by signage or traffic controllers as required.

Motorists and pedestrians should travel with care, drive to the prevailing road conditions, and adhere to signage.

Pedestrians are encouraged to use controlled crossings where possible and to give way to traffic until line marking is completed.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates your patience while works are in progress.

Please direct all enquiries and concerns to the Kingaroy Transformation Project team on 1300 789 279, 07 4189 9100 or email ktp@sbrc.qld.gov.au.

Alternatively, visit the Kingaroy Transformation Project office at 180 Kingaroy Street Kingaroy, Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm. Operating times of the office may differ depending on project demands.
