Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA)

South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to announce that the South Burnett region has been activated

for the following financial assistance packages available under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) as a result of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Seth, 7 – 10 January 2022.  We acknowledge the Australian and Queensland governments and the Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA) for the available funding.

DRFA Extraordinary Disaster  Assistance

Clean up and Recovery Grants

Primary producers in the worst hit areas may be eligible to apply for recovery grants of up to $50,000 to support clean-up, restoration and recovery activities.

Properties outside disaster-activated areas

Primary producers who have suffered significant damage as a result of Ex-TC Seth, but are outside the South Burnett region, may apply for an Individual Disaster Stricken Property (IDSP) declaration. This declaration will give you access to assistance similar to DRFA assistance of freight subsidies and concessional loans.
