KTP – Schedule of Works for January / February 2022 - Kingaroy Street
The Kingaroy Transformation Project works are continuing through the intersection of Alford and Kingaroy Streets
and will continue north on both sides of the street with simultaneous construction to reduce impacts on businesses and construction time.
An extension of the works area towards Haly Street will commence within the week of 24 January 2022 with reduced parking remaining in Alford Street. Additional parking can be accessed via off street carparking behind the banks.
Council will continue to provide regular updates and maps for community accessibility.
January Works
Works during week 24 January 2022
- Continued closure of Kingaroy and Alford Street intersection to allow for traffic signal replacement, stormwater, communication, and electrical replacement. An extension of the exiting closure along Kingaroy Street to allow works to continue towards Haly Street.
February Works
Works during week 1 February 2022
- Commencement of concrete landscaping works and kerb & channel replacement within the Kingaroy Street and Alford Street intersections. Traffic signal, stormwater, communication and electrical installation continuing between Alford Street and Kingaroy Street pedestrian crossing.
Works during week 7 February 2022
- Commencement of footpath reinstatement works around the Kingaroy Street Alford Street intersection. Continuation of electrical, communications, traffic signal and stormwater work, continuing between Alford and Kingaroy Street intersections and Kingaroy Street pedestrian crossing.
