Rates Notice Issued
Council hereby notifies all ratepayers that rate notices for the period 1 January to 30 June 2022 were issued on Tuesday 15 February 2022 with a discount date of Monday 21 March 2022.
If you have not received your rate notice please contact your local Customer Service Centre for a copy. South Burnett ratepayers have the option to have rates notices sent electronically via email or by post.
Council offers a number of payment options, and are happy to assist ratepayers in finding a payment method that best suits them, with options including:
- Australia Post
- BPay
- Payment by mail
- Pay by phone
- Pay by Centrepay
- Pre-payments or instalments
- Paying in person at Council’s Customer Service Centres located at Blackbutt, Kingaroy, Murgon, Nanango, Proston and Wondai. PLEASE NOTE: Council’s Office hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Discount will be available up to 4.30pm on Monday 21 March 2022.
Please ensure electronic transfers are received into Council’s account before the close of discount date. For BPAY transfers allow up to three days for transfer into Council’s account. Please contact your financial institution directly regarding internet banking and transfer cut-off times.
