KTP – Installation of Road Lighting Poles along Alford Street from Youngman to Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy
South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to advise that the installation of road lighting poles are planned for this Friday, 18 February 2022.
The scheduled works are anticipated to commence from 4:30am and will be undertaken by local electrical contractors Astills Electrical Services. The works are subject to weather and other external constraints.
In order to provide a safe working environment for Council staff, contractors and users, these works will be controlled by traffic controllers with short term interruptions to the traffic and parking facilities.
It is also anticipated that the road lights will be activated in the coming months.
During the construction period, Council strongly encourages the community to support those businesses impacted by the works.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks businesses and the community for their patience whilst works are in progress.
