Alford Street, Haly Street and Glendon Street, Kingaroy Notice of Road Line Marking

South Burnett Reginal Council advises that line marking works are planned to commence at 8:00pm Wednesday 9 March 2022.  These works will be scheduled to be completed during night-time hours, subject to weather and other external constraints.

In order to provide a safe working environment for Council staff and users, these works will be controlled by traffic controllers, and you may have intermitted stoppages.  The location of works include:

• Alford Street, Youngman Street to Kingaroy Street,
• Glendon Street, Alford Street to Haly Street
• Haly Street, Youngman Street to Kingaroy Street
• Kingaroy Shopping World, carpark via Glendon Street will be temporary closed from 8:00pm.

Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.  Pedestrian access most likely will be restricted whilst works are commencing. 

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks businesses and the community for their patience whilst works are in progress.
