KTP - Work to Commence on Glendon Street
The Kingaroy Transformation Project will commence works on Glendon Street on Thursday 31 March 2022.
Early works will see the installation of power infrastructure, telecommunication, stormwater and demolition works on the footpath areas. Works will ensure that both lanes of traffic within Glendon Street remain open along with pedestrian access at this time. The existing bus stop location will be established within its new location adjacent Price Busters within Glendon Street.
With the major civil construction occurring within Kingaroy Street/Haly Street intersection nearing completion, construction in Glendon Street will progressively increase with the first partial road closure and detours expected to commence Monday 11 April 2022.
Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks businesses and the community for their patience whilst works are in progress.
