Kingaroy Water Network Testing and Maintenance
As a part of Council’s water supply network operations program and commitment to ensure the long-term sustainability and efficiency of our water infrastructure,
Council is undertaking testing and maintenance of a section of Kingaroy’s water supply network.
The planned works will involve intermittent interruptions to supply in the Ultra High Level (UHL) and Extra High Level (XHL) pressure zones situated in areas north of Cowie Drive, between Moore Street and Tessmanns Road, Summit View Estate, and services in the rural residential areas west of Tessmanns Road depicted in the figure below.
The testing and maintenance process will involve isolating the Premier Drive reservoir and converting Reservoir Street pump station to a pressure booster to maintain demand pressure and flows. Hydrant performance will also be tested during the process.
The maintenance and testing works will be undertaken on Tuesday 12 April 2022 between the hours of 9:00am to 2:00pm. Customers may experience low pressures and interruptions to flow periodically during this time.
