Glendon Street/Markwell Street Blackspot Funded Project
The Blackspot Funded Project, designed to improve the safety within the Glendon Street/Markwell Street roundabout, will be commencing on the morning of Tuesday, 26 April 2022.
During works the intersection will be closed from all directions with turn around facilities in place and access to local business maintained via existing driveways and pedestrian entrances (see image below). The road closure is expected to have a duration of two (2) weeks subject to weather conditions with final completion of works occurring throughout May under local traffic control as required.
Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks businesses and the community for their patience whilst works are in progress.
