Festival of the Dams Postponed

The Festival of the Dams Boondooma has been postponed to a date to be advised due to the latest weather event.
The Boyne and Stuart River catchments that run into the dam still have a large amount of water to reach the dam, which is already spilling over. The decision to postpone was not made lightly but Fishing Freshwater, Council and Dam Managers believe this to be the only option particularly as the forecast for this coming weekend is also not looking favourable.
