Notice of Works - KTP - Glendon Street, Kingaroy
Reconstruction of Glendon Street will continue to extend north towards Haly Street with the demolition of the areas adjacent to Glendon Street Café and the Commercial Hotel bottle shop drive-through
commencing Monday, 20 June 2022.
Traffic in Glendon Street will be changed to one southbound lane as seen in the map below. During these works, access to the Commercial Hotel bottle shop drive-through will remain open with access via Haly Street, as will footpath access to Glendon Street Café and Sarina Russo. Use of the laneway next to the bottle shop will be closed during construction.
Car parking within Circular Place will remain open throughout construction. Council encourages motorists seeking long term parking to use the off-street carpark behind the Commonwealth Bank or parking from George Street located behind Raine and Horne.
Motorists are requested to travel with care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage. Pedestrians are also asked to take care during the temporary changes. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks businesses and the community for their patience whilst works are in progress.
