Notice of Works – Sawpit Creek Bridge on Cherbourg Road

Council routinely undertakes inspections of all major drainage structures within our region. On recent inspection of the Sawpit Creek Bridge on Cherbourg Road, a number of defects were identified.
Council wishes to highlight the integrity of the structure is still safe for all users to continue to use as per normal.
Preventive maintenance repairs have been scheduled to commence from Monday 20 June 2022 to Friday 24 June 2022.
In order to provide a safe working environment for Council staff, contractors and users, the works will be controlled by signage or traffic controllers as required. Motorists are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
