Display Cabinet for South Burnett Energy Centre

The South Burnett Regional Council has welcomed the arrival of a large display cabinet that forms part of the Butter Factory display.
The additional cabinet will enable museum volunteers to preserve the stories and artefacts responsible for providing the first reticulated power to Nanango.
The purchase of the cabinet was supported by the Australian Government’s Culture, Heritage and Arts Regional Tourism (CHART) Program in collaboration with the Australian Museums and Galleries Association (AMaGA).
“Professional display cabinets make such a difference to our displays,” said Cr Danita Potter. “Before, we had to squeeze our precious artefacts into small spaces with difficult access.”
“Now, we can properly show off and house these historical objects that come directly from local families and mean so much.”
