Rail Trail Closure

Due to the recent rainfall and continuous water flow from surrounding areas, the Kilkivan to Kingaroy trail will be closed between:
Murgon and Goomeri (Sawmill Creek crossing)
- Alternative path to Moffatdale Wine Trail can be used following the Hwy access road and old Hwy to the Kilcoy – Murgon Rd intersection
Note – Use safety when crossing the Hwy within the 100km zone
- Alternative paths to Goomeri can be accessed 300m beyond the creek crossing following the old Hwy
Wondai to Murgon
- Barambah Creek from Joe Sippel Weir (foot bridge ) closed due to minor flood water
Blackbutt to Linville
- Remains open but with caution
Council advises public to dismount bicycles and take caution in approaching this zone due to water across the trail and uneven surfaces - “Safe Riding”
