Best Practice Volunteer Engagement – Kingaroy Workshop

Volunteering Queensland, South Burnett Regional Council & BIEDO invite you to attend a workshop focused on assisting volunteer organisations in our region.

This workshop can assist you to recruit new volunteers and learn about the best practices in managing and leading volunteers.

Join staff from Volunteering Queensland, who will walk you through the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement, allowing you the chance to review your organisation’s program and engagement with volunteers.  The workshop can assist you in recruiting and retaining volunteers your organisation relies on to carry out vital services and programs that is provided to the local South Burnett community.

You can also ask questions on current volunteering trends, discuss the issues currently facing your organisation since the pandemic, and network with your local volunteer organisations to share your success stories of volunteering in your organisation.

This program is suitable for volunteer organisation office bearers, volunteer coordinators and managers – including community groups, sporting organisations, church groups, seniors groups, community hall committees, show societies and event committees, and social welfare groups.

This free workshop includes a copy of the Volunteer National Standards guide and workbook, with lunch also being provided.
