Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA)
South Burnett Regional Council has been impacted by multiple disaster events over the last nine months.
Various grants and assistance programs have been established in response to these events.
Council is encouraging all impacted property owners to follow up with funding agencies to confirm eligibility and finalise their initial grant applications which are only available for limited times.
Mayor Otto is urging people to act now to avoid missing out on potential assistance. “It is important people do not self-assess and assume they are not eligible for funding.”

The first of the three Special Disaster Assistance Recovery Grants is closing soon, and all primary producers are called upon to complete and return their forms.
Closing dates are as follows: 30 September 2022, 28 October 2022, 5 December 2022.
