South Burnett Aquatic Centre - Bathroom Upgrades
The South Burnett Aquatic Centre at Nanango has reopened to the public after much needed renovations to this extremely popular facility.
To complete these renovations, demolition works were required in the existing bathrooms. The new works included creation of a new Unisex People With Disability (PWD) amenity and a new First Aid Room and renovation of the existing Unisex PWD amenity, female amenities, male amenities, and shower area. New windows and screens were installed to replace existing louvre windows. The upgrade also involved new partitioning, floor coverings, fixtures and fittings and painting of all new and disturbed works.
The pool management have received positive feedback from all visitors to this facility about how wonderful the improvements are. With the amount of people that use our rehabilitation pool, the extra disability bathroom is being put to great use.
