South Burnett Regional Council would like to advise residents that due to the Australian Federal Government declaring Thursday, 22 September 2022 as a National Day of Mourning following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the decision has been made to extend the discount date for the current rates notice to Friday 23 September 2022.
To ensure you receive discounts on your rates, payment is due before 4.30pm on Friday 23 September 2022.
Council offers numerous ways to make payments to assist with everyone’s busy lifestyles. Such payment options are:
- In person at Council's Customer Service Centres in Blackbutt, Kingaroy, Murgon, Nanango, Proston and Wondai. EFTPOS facilities are available at all Council Customer Service Centres and most debit or ATM cards are accepted.
- By post - cheques or money orders to Council at the address stated on your rate notice. Please ensure your payment is posted prior to 23 September 2002.
- BPAY
- POSTbillpay, via Australia Post branches, or by telephone or internet.
- Credit Card Payments can also be made over the phone via Post BPAY on 131 816.
