Knight Street & Walter Road Kingaroy Water Main Replacement
The Department of Transport and Main Road’s High-Risk Roads Safety Program is upgrading Walter Road between Harris Road and Knight Street (see image below).
The replacement of the water main and water services will be completed by local contractors scheduled to commence in November, with works expected to take ten (10) weeks to complete, weather permitting. Any planned disruptions to water services required to complete the works will be minimised and communicated prior to their occurrence.
Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks businesses and the community for their patience whilst works are in progress.
