Bravehearts' Founder Hetty Johnston to Speak at Mayor's Community Christmas Luncheon

Bravehearts founder and child protection campaigner Hetty Johnston AM GAICD will be the featured guest speaker at the South Burnett Mayor’s Community Christmas Lunch on Friday November 25.

Ms Johnston is a Child Protection and Safeguarding Governance Specialist and Co-Chair of the National Office for Child Safety Advisory Group.

In her address ‘Living on Eggshells’, Ms Johnston will focus on issues of mental health arising from the impacts of a traumatic event, the stages of recovery and moving towards resilience.

Ms Johnston’s attendance is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.

Tickets for the Mayor’s Community Christmas Lunch are still available at all Customer Service Counters or by calling 4189 9100.

Tickets and raffles proceeds will go to local charities.
